The Dandenong Stingrays have confirmed their head coaches for the 2023 NAB League season.
Nick Cox will continue with the Stingrays as head coach of the boys’ program, while Josh Moore has been appointed head coach of the girls’ program.
Cox has been head coach of the Stingrays since 2019 and has led both teams over the past two seasons.
This year he steered the club to grand final appearances in both the NAB League Boys and NAB League Girls competitions.
Moore served as an assistant coach for both teams and now takes on the head coach role of the girls’ team.
He was head coach of the Victoria Country under-17 boys team that took on NSW/ACT in August this year.
The AFL has committed to boosting the resources available to girls pathway programs in Victoria and Tasmania to support the continued progression and growth of girls football.
For the first time, all regional pathways programs participating in the NAB League in Victoria and Tasmania will have a dedicated full-time coach for each of their boys and girls teams in 2023.
